The Tradition Continues...

AFter a very late nght at Red White And Boom (Columbus' Fireworks Downtown) we arrived at Selby Park at 9:55AM...just in time for the kiddie parade! It's now 4 years running (our 5th!) Just 4 years ago we ran into Judy Galasso who introduced us to our 1st home in Worthington. The twins were just months old then! Wow, how life has changed! We weren't even sure that we would be able to do it this year since we have been so busy with the house. But! We found a way. At midnight last night I whipped up a float, found costumes and wha la! We did the kiddie parade for the 5th time (not counting the MANY years that I participated in the SAME parade as a child). After the kiddie parade (where the kids won 1st place btw!) we went to the parade in our neighborhood. It's quite the show. The kids hauled in more candy than I've ever seen on a good Halloween night. The grand marshall of the parade was Kathleen Sullivan...the 1st American woman to walk in Space. She lives in our neighborhood. Who knew!!! Enjoy the pics!
