Life Changes...

Boy, how life has changed. The post below is proof. Now, I was never one to attend a wild concert. Sadly Jars of Clay and the Indigo Girls were as wild as I ever got. Jason, on the other hand, had his share of stories. My fave was the one his dad took him to when he was 10. Joints were being passed (and offered) right in front of his face...AND he went to the concert with his dad =) Pretty sure they both left sober that night.
Justin Roberts is case in point. This concert was in a library. You would NOT believe how PACKED this library was for Justin Roberts. For a town full of old people (Worthington), I've discovered we sure do have a lot of 4 year olds. And the parents! Many parents dragged their toddlers to this concert. In fact, the woman in front of me, a new transplant from Chicago and mother to a very tired 18 month old, made her family wait in a VERY long line, so she could get the autograph of Justin Roberts! Now in our 30's, we "young" parents are waiting in line for a picture of a "celebrity" who appears quite often on Noggin. What has happened to us? What a life we now live =)
On the upside, it really was a good concert, the kids got to mosh (seriously) and other than being VERY HOT and CROWDED, the parents had a good time too. Looking forward to the next toddler night out! =)
